You can contact our data protection officer by mail at the address named in the imprint with the addition ‘Data Protection Officer’.

Collection and Use of Personal Data

We collect personal data if you voluntarily transfer them to us by contacting us, for example via a subscription form or email. We will only collect your personal data with your consent. The type of data that will be collected in the contact form can be seen on our website in the respective contact form. Data transmitted through the contact form will be stored on servers located in Germany. We use the data you provide to us to process your inquiries. Depending on the purpose we may collect and store title, name, company, job title, address, gender, date of birth, phone number, and email address. Unless specifically stated, we store personal data only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes pursued.

Use of Cookies

In order to improve website performance, we use cookies. Cookies are text files that are stored on your device. Cookies remain on your device and allow us to recognize your browser on the next visit (persistent cookies). You can set your browser to inform you about the cookie setting and disable cookies individually, or to disable cookies for specific cases or in general. If the usage of cookies is not enabled, the functionality of our website may be restricted. The legal basis for this processing of data is the improvement of the functionality and stability of the website (Art. 6 (1) f GDPR).

Cloudflare

Our website uses web services of CloudFlare Inc., 101 Townsend St, 94107 San Francisco, USA (hereinafter: CloudFlare). We use this data to ensure the full functionality of our website. In this context, your browser may transfer personal information to CloudFlare. The legal basis for data processing is Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f GDPR. The legitimate interest lies in the faultless functioning of the website. CloudFlare has certified itself within the framework of the EU-US Privacy Shield Agreement (see https://www.privacyshield.gov/list). The data will be deleted as soon as the purpose of its collection has been fulfilled. Further information on the handling of the transferred data can be found in CloudFlare’s data protection declaration: https://www.cloudflare.com/security-policy/?utm_referrer=https://www.google.de/. You can prevent the collection and processing of your data by CloudFlare by deactivating the execution of script code in your browser or by installing a script blocker in your browser (this can be found, for example, at www.noscript.net or www.ghostery.com).

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics on our website. This is a web analysis service provided by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043 USA, hereinafter referred to as “Google”. Through certification according to the EU-US data protection shield (“EU-US Privacy Shield”) https://www.privacyshield.gov/participant?id=a2zt000000001L5AAI&status=Active, Google guarantees that the data protection requirements of the EU are also complied with when processing data in the USA. The Google Analytics service is used to analyze the usage behavior of our Internet presence. The legal basis is Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the analysis, optimisation and economic operation of our website. Usage and user-related information, such as IP address, location, time or frequency of the visit to our website, is transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, we use Google Analytics with the so-called anonymization function. Through this function, Google shortens the IP address already within the EU or EEA. The data collected in this way is in turn used by Google to provide us with an evaluation of the visit to our website and the usage activities there. This data may also be used to provide other services relating to the use of our website and the Internet. Google states that it does not link your IP address with other data. In addition, Google provides further data protection information for you at https://www.google.com/intl/de/policies/privacy/partners, e.g. on the possibilities to prevent the use of data. In addition, Google offers a so-called deactivation add-on at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en along with further information on this. This add-on can be installed with standard Internet browsers and offers you further control over the data that Google collects when you visit our website. The add-on informs the JavaScript (ga.js) of Google Analytics that information on visits to our website should not be transmitted to Google Analytics. However, this does not prevent information from being transmitted to us or to other web analysis services.

Google Maps

This website uses the Google Maps API to visually display geographic information. When Google Maps is used, Google (Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, California, 94043) also collects, processes and uses data about the use of Maps functions by website visitors. For more information about data processing by Google, please refer to Google’s privacy policy, which can be found at www.google.com/privacypolicy.html.

Google Fonts

External fonts, Google Fonts, are used on these Internet pages. Google Fonts is a service of Google Inc. (“Google”). These web fonts are integrated via a server call, usually a Google server in the USA. This will tell the server which of our Internet pages you have visited. The IP address of the browser of the terminal device of the visitor to these Internet pages is also stored by Google.

Website Security

We use and constantly improve technical and organizational security measures to protect the information provided to us and prevent personal data from being accidentally or intentionally altered, deleted, or accessed by unauthorized persons.

Right to Deletion

Right to deletion according to Art. 17 DSGVO: You have the right to demand the deletion of your personal data if the requirements of Art. 17 (1) GDPR are met. This right does not apply if the processing is necessary for the exercise of the right to freedom of expression and information, for the fulfillment of a legal obligation, for reasons of public interest or for the pursuit, exercise or defense of rights;

Right to Restriction of Processing

Right to restriction of processing according to Art. 18 GDPR: You have the right to demand the restriction of the processing of your personal data provided that the correctness of your data is verified, if you refuse to delete your data due to inadmissible data processing and instead restrict the processing of your data, if you need your data for the assertion, exercise, or defense of legal rights, after we no longer require these data for their purpose, or if you have objected for reasons of your particular situation, as long as it is not ascertained, whether our legitimate reasons prevail;

Information to Third Parties

Right to information in accordance to Art. 19 GDPR: If you exercise the right to correct, delete, or limit the processing towards the responsible contact, this person is obliged to inform all recipients who have been disclosed personal data about the correction, deletion, or limitation of processing of the data, unless this is impossible or requires a disproportionate effort. Right to Objection

If you have given your consent (Art. 6 (1) a GDPR) to the processing of your data, you can withdraw your consent at any time. Such a withdrawal influences the permissibility of processing your personal data after you have provided it to us.

If we base the processing of your personal data on the weighing of interests (Art. 6 (1) f GDPR), you may object to the processing at any time. In the event of your justified objection, we will either stop or adjust data processing or point out to you our compelling reasons worthy of protection, on the basis of which we will continue (possibly limited) processing.

You can object to the processing of your personal data for purposes of advertising and data analysis at any time. You can inform us about your objection under the above-mentioned contact details.
